Come and learn some of the traditional forging skills that have been used for thousands of years, including heating metal in the forge and then shaping it using a hammer, anvil and various other blacksmith's tools.

Meet the Maker

Matt Clarke is a self-taught artisan blacksmith of over 10 years with an engineering background, using his experience in both industries to create cleverly designed products that will last a lifetime.

Every item available from Skeggox Forge is designed and handcrafted to order by Matt in his Staffordshire Moorlands workshop, using a combination of traditional and modern techniques to ensure you receive high quality products that will be loved for years to come.

In 2023, after numerous enquiries, Matt decided to share his knowledge and began offering blacksmith experiences on a 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 basis, in the hope of keeping this traditional craft alive.
